Faith L. Farrell 1943-2024

Born Aug. 16, 1943, Faith was a warm, lovely and adoring figure in the lives of those she touched, embodying the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend with unparalleled devotion and grace.

Faith was the proud owner and operator of Shear Success by Faith, where she not only styled hair but also nurtured friendships and community ties. She had a passion for crafting, reading and musicals. She had leadership roles in Girl Scouts, TOPS and the local PTA. She shared a special bond with her husband, participating in various activities he initiated with enthusiasm and love. Further, she loved to explore the outdoors with her husband Jim, be it on their scooters or with their canoe.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband, James Farrell; daughter, Kelly Farrell-Griffin, and son-in-law, Tommy Griffin; son, Jim Farrell, and daughter-in-law, Maureen Farrell; granddaughter, Megan Farrell; sister, Holly Papa, and brother-in-law, Mike Papa; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Robert Tiernan; brother, Joseph Kovach; sister, Joyce Kovach; and grandchildren, Annie Griffin and Sean Farrell.

Her legacy of love, care and community involvement will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A visitation for Faith will be 11 a.m., with a celebration of Faith’s life beginning at noon Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon, OH 44011.
