Eileen C. Mason 1932-2024

She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 3, 1932, to the late Archibald McIlwraith and Elizabeth Cameron McIlwraith.

She worked as an assembly line worker for General Motors in the Packard Electric Division, Warren. Of Christian faith, she worshiped at Bazetta Christian Church in Cortland. She was an avid golfer and was proud to have achieved a hole-in-one! She also enjoyed bowling and traveling, often visiting her relatives all over the world.

Eileen lived in Ohio for many years until she suffered a fall in 2018. She then moved to be near her sons, Archibald and David, so they could help care for her.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her sons, John Mason of Surprise, Arizona, Archibald Ross Mason of Camby, Indiana, and David C. Mason, also of Camby, Indiana; and sisters, Else McKay of Terrace Bay, Ontario, Canada, and Jean Rome of Fergus, Ontario, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John McIlwraith; and sister, Betty Grey.

Eileen has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
