Carla A. Slusher 1963-2024
WINDSOR — Carla Ann Slusher, 61, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at home.
She was born April 1, 1963, in Warren, the daughter of Leland and Dorothy Duncan Cross.
She married Robert L. Slusher Jr. on Aug. 4, 1984.
Carla was fiscal officer / clerk of Windsor Township for the past 21 years. She was a member of the Ashtabula County Township Association and Windsor Historical Society. Carla enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, reading, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Slusher Jr.; children, Jessica (Bryan) Slusher and Robert (Adrian) Slusher III; and grandchildren, Monroe, Benjamin and Reagan.
Preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Dorothy Cross; and sisters, Laura Cross and Cheryl Marks.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor James Smith will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at Paine Funeral Home Inc., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, OH 44076, with burial to follow in Windsor Township Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at the funeral home.
