Tammy L. Blanton 1963-2024

Tammy was born on May 3, 1963, in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Claire and Mary Lou Riggle.

She worked at the Girard Free Library for 30 years. She enjoyed being outdoors whether she was fishing or camping in the mountains. She also loved going dancing with her husband. She was known for being selfless and always cared about others before herself.

Tammy will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Ronald Blanton; children, Jeremy Richmond and his fiance, Tiffany Fiedler; Kaylynn (Kevin) Kloesel, Eric (Alaina) Blanton and Brittany (Joe) Blanton; grandchildren, Collin, Khloe, Charlotte, Adaline, Jake, James, Austin, Remington, Parker and Carsen; and siblings, Bud (Bonnie) Ramer, Sue Tennant, Deb Blake and Amy (Bob) Kendall.

Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer-Winans Chapel, located at 164 N. High St., Cortland.
