Ervin E. Helmuth 1946-2024

He was born April 7, 1946, in Mesopotamia, the son of Fred and Katie Coblentz Helmuth.

He was employed as a dispatcher and truck driver for the Dart Company and Erie Concrete and Steel Company and was a member of Bristol Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Ed, Bill and Dan Helmuth, Kim Freiberg and Christina Lynch; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Swyers, Fanny Blair, Emma Shoemaker, Esther Kellet, Dolly Hake, Kathy Fularz and Marie Scott; and brother, Fred Helmuth.

Ervin was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Osburn Helmuth; one granddaughter; and three brothers.

Calling hours will take place at 11 a.m. followed by a service at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, at Abundant Life Ministry Center, Burton.

Interment will be in Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield.
