Donna L. Morgan 1942-2024

Donna was born April 2, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter of Daniel and Thelma Davis Morgan.

She was a 1960 graduate of Liberty High School.

Donna worked at Packard Electric for 28 years as an assembler, retiring in 1997. She was an avid golfer and was active in many golf leagues. Donna also enjoyed tennis, snow skiing, water skiing and taught swim lessons at the YMCA. Above all else she cherished her time with family and friends.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory her son, Bert James (Kim) Cole Jr. of Tennessee; sisters, Myrtlann “Mert” Moore of Hubbard, Dianne Buser of Girard and Mary Lou Duff (Larry Sherer) of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Richard Morgan (Becky Babbs) of St. Augustine, Florida; and granddaughter, Casey Lynn Cole, who was the love of her life; along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas Malutic; her godson, Eugene Buser III; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Buser and Gary Moore.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. to noon, with a funeral service following at noon Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard.

Donna will be laid to rest, next to her parents, in Belmont Park Cemetery.
