Dermont E. Hall 1942-2024
								LORDSTOWN — Dermont Eugene Hall, 82, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born Jan. 24, 1942, in Sagamore, Pa., the son of the late Dilbert J. and Gertrude M. Scott Hall.
Dermont was a graduate of Shannock Valley High School and retired as an autoworker at General Motors, after 28 years. He attended Grace Methodist Church. Dermont and his brothers owned a Christmas tree business.
His hobbies included trapshooting, computer technology, and he was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. Dermont enjoyed going to breakfast with his church friends. Mostly, he loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Judith “Judy” A. Hall of Lordstown, whom he married Nov. 22, 1961; daughter, Lorrie (Mike Grimm) Wells of Lordstown; son, David (Michelle Gill) Hall of Lordstown; brothers, Frank (Ruth) Hall of Vienna and Loran (Carol) Hall of Rural Valley, Pa.; grandchildren, Courtney Hall, Olivia Wells, Brittney Hall and Zack (Helena) Wells; and great-grandchildren, James and Rachel Wells.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Duane Hall; and son-in-law, Mark Wells.
Services will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, Grace Methodist Church, 1725 Drexel Ave., Warren, OH 44485.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at the church.
Interment will be in Lordstown Cemetery, Lordstown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any material contributions be made to Grace Methodist Church, in his memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
