Deborah Lee Held 1960-2024

Deborah graduated from Howland High School, then served in the U.S. Air Force.

She was known as “Mama” or “Mimi” to everyone around her and was a strong business leader before her retirement.

She enjoyed life and loved to gamble, living life to the fullest. She was always giving and kind to others, and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Whisler; and sister, Rebecca Lopez.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Muir; and son-in-law, Danny Muir; two granddaughters, Kayleigh and Catianna Muir; father, Jerome Whisler; mother, Muriel MacKay; nephews, David Brian Whisler and Denny Adkins; and niece, Alivia Whisler.

Deborah’s wishes were to be cremated.

Arrangements were by Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel, Pooler, Georgia.
