Leonard E. Holbrook Sr. 1962-2024

Leonard was born in Los Angeles, California, on Aug. 28, 1962, the son of the late Jack and Ellen Glenn Holbrook.

He was a 1981 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.

Mr. Holbrook was known for doing everything and anything; however he mostly worked in landscaping.

Leonard loved the outdoors. He could always be found fishing or sitting by the fire while camping. He also enjoyed working in his vegetable garden but his favorite way to spend the day was playing his guitar. His greatest love in life was his family, especially his grandkids and his dog, Maxxie.

He is survived by his two daughters, Tonya (Anthony) Ware of Warren, and Chyrl (Adrian) Nelson of Warren; four siblings, Mary (Tom) Cramer, Thelma (Jeff) Bartolomeo, Jack Holbrook and Vic Holbrook; six grandchildren, Lorelai, Sheyenne, Novalee, Anthony Jr. “AJ”, Nolan and Aubriee; and one great-granddaughter, Everly.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Roberta Ann Hunter Holbrook, who sadly passed away in 2022; and a son, Leonard Holbrook Jr.
