Cindy L. Stevens 1956-2024
NEWTON FALLS — Cindy L. Stevens, 67, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Nov. 10, 1956, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Shirley Moyer of Bristolville.
Cindy was well known and loved among the schoolchildren of Kaufman, Texas, and made lifelong friends before moving back to Ohio.
Cindy had many talents and she found joy in the world of crafting and oil painting. Cindy had an enduring love for music, with Willie Nelson’s melodies holding a special place in her heart. Cindy enjoyed long road trips, especially getting lost in the beauty of the world around her and eventually coming to her destination. Antiquing was another cherished pastime, a treasure hunt through time that Cindy adored. Cindy was not merely an artist, a music lover or a collector; she was a friend, a confidante and a source of unwavering love and support.
She never met a stranger and was quick to make all those she met laugh. A volunteer at Betty’s Angels for many years, she was always looking out for the needs of others. Cindy was a person no one could ever forget and she loved her family and friends dearly. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Jeffrey A. Robinson; and sister-in-law, Teresa Moyer.
Cindy is survived by her loving daughters, Salina Stevens and Alexis (Theodore Liptak) Robinson; siblings, Lawrence Moyer Jr., Laurie (Dennis) Pugh and LeRoy (Carol) Moyer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per Cindy’s wishes, cremation will take place.
Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
